Legislature Actions in Atlanta Senate and House

In Atlanta on August 3 the Senate passed a prohibition on shooting at dwellings and rejected fall session plans. It killed the Parson's tax bill for high schools and opposed $35,000 aid to the Georgia Normal and Industrial College.
