More than 100 boy scouts and leaders will gather Monday at St Marys for the Okefenokee district council encampment named Camp Cheerful. Savannah Police Capture Wet Goods

Savannah police seized four trunks of fine Scotch whiskey at the Central of Georgia station. The liquor, intended for shipment on the Atlanta air train, was not claimed and bore no identifying marks. Investigators believe this is one of several shipments headed inland.

At yesterday's Glynn county board meeting the sale of a $40,000 block of school bonds to fund the Risley school project was authorized. Robinson Humphreys & Company of Atlanta bid 91.16 for the block, part of a $250,000 issue for the Area building Risley school and high school auditorium. A notable bid from Brunswick Bank & Trust Company came in at 90.6.

The Brunswick Bank & Trust Company was the successful bidder on the prior $40,000 Bonds Supplemented issue. For Risley School, funds will be augmented by two education grants for Black children totaling $3,000, Rosenfeld fund $1,600 and another source $1,400, making nearly $40,000 available for building and equipment.
