Examination for teachers tests given at Glynn Grammar School

Candidates for teachers certificates in state schools met at the Glynn Grammar school where tests distributed by state authorities were issued by Superintendent N H Ballard and Reverend Walter D Winn. Sessions split between forenoon and afternoon and continue today. Primary examinations were held yesterday and elementary tests planned for today. No notebooks allowed and candidates may not communicate.

Needle in Foot for Twenty-Five Years Found Removed

In Atlanta doctors removed a needle embedded in Mrs. W. J Stoddard’s left foot after twenty five years. She recalled the needle entered when she was a child and had caused persistent trouble with swelling and rheumatism despite prior treatments. The operation succeeded and she is recovering.
