Aged Lady Minehan Dies at 93 in Brunswick
Mrs Patrick Minehan aged 93 longtime Brunswick resident died at her home corner Wolf and L streets at 7 last night. Born in 1810 in Damon county Ireland she came to the United States in 1850 and settled in Brunswick in 1857. She leaves a daughter Mrs Kate Fundy. Funeral from St Xavier Catholic church at 2 tomorrow afternoon. The city mourns for a venerable resident and friend of many.

W M Turner aged 60 died last night at 11 at his daughter Mrs Emmett Calnan’s home after a long illness from cancer. He came from Lake City Florida to Brunswick for treatment and had been improving before declining. He leaves a wife in Lake City and three children Wm Brown Clearwater Fla Mrs R K Turner Statesboro Ga and Mrs Emmett Calnan Brunswick. Funeral planned for tomorrow time not set. He was a South Carolina native and a Confederate veteran with many friends sending condolences.

Mrs R B Heidt, former resident of this city, won a $5,000 damages verdict against Waycross Electric Light Company in Ware Superior Court. The suit claimed the death of her husband was caused by an electrical wire accident in Waycross. The trial lasted the week and the company plans to appeal to the state supreme court.
