Mr G S Scarlett Sr longtime Glynn county resident aged about 84 died at his home Fancy Bluff yesterday morning at 7 oclock after a long illness. He leaves a wife and eleven children including Mrs J L Beach Mrs Albert Willsman Stanton Mason Frank Robert Julian Emmie Meta Pauline Daisy and Helen Scarlett. Funeral at 12 today from the family residence with interment in Oak Grove. The Howland steamer has been chartered to convey Brunswick relatives to Fancy Bluff.

Three Boys Die in Alexandria Fire In Alabama
News from Anniston Alabama reports three young colored brothers aged 12 14 and 16 died in a house fire at Alexandria two miles from the town early today. Six children were in the home of their father Chris McDaniel and three escaped with injuries. All flesh on the three victims burned from their bones and the cause of the blaze could not be learned.
