He moved from Hall to Jackson County fourteen years ago and is survived by two daughters Mrs George W Faulkner Belston and Mrs J A Suddeth Jefferson. Burial at Dewberry Church No 1 tomorrow at noon conducted by Revs Noah Martin and D S Grindle. He first urged Governor Candler for political office and for governor.
Wealthy Edwardsville citizen shot dead in dispensary
W H Owen a prominent Edwardsville resident was shot and killed this afternoon in the local dispensary. Gunman G Grice, the dispenser, has been arrested and jailed on a murder charge. The motive and cause of the killing remain unknown.
