Three Buried in One Coffin Funeral of Charles Robinson

Charles A. Robinson and his two children were buried in a single casket in Roanoke Virginia after a stable fire in which the letter carrier died while trying to save the children. The funeral drew a large crowd of both white and colored attendees with Rev J H Brown delivering the sermon and Postmaster Funkhouser leading the post office group.
