Missouri state teachers plan a Kansas City gathering November 4 to 6 1915 with an expected enrollment of about ten thousand. Every county will be represented and normal schools colleges and universities will contribute large delegations. Prominent speakers include Dr J F Hosic and Dr H H Goddard with other leading educators joining the program.

Knifong Grove basketball teams won both weekend matches. On Friday October 22 the first team beat Browning 14 to 9 in twenty minute halves. On Saturday October 23 the junior team defeated Prairie Mound 33 to 7 on their court. Earl M Palmer officiated both games.

Last night at R C Sloan home Ruth, longtime housekeeper, married W J Dodson who had claimed her as his own. At 9 15 the ceremony united them in matrimony. A 60 strong crowd of family and neighbors gathered for an old fashioned celebration with candy and cigars.
