A Missouri editor condemns liquor interests for circulating false claims that prohibition fails in Kansas. He argues Kansas shows sustained prosperity, school funding, and city growth, urging Missourians to ignore misleading anti prohibition rhetoric and rely on observed Kansas success.
Myrtle VanDoren born November 18 1883 died October 18 1910 at age 26 11. She married Hugh VanDoren December 10 1905 and had two sons one living. She joined the Christian church lived righteously and asked loved ones not to grieve. Funeral led by Elder Lagle with burial at Mount Carmel beside Little Farris. She leaves husband father mother three sisters two brothers and many friends. Aunt Permelia M. wrote the verse at end.
