Green Castle wreck leaves one dead and three seriously hurt
A Sunday afternoon crash on gravel Highway No 6 four miles east of Green Castle involved two westbound cars and an eastbound Ford pickup from Browning Motor Company. Mrs. Poole of Milan was killed instantly. Glenn Rhodes sustained a broken arm, two young women were bruised, and three others were rushed to Kirksville hospital. Spectators gathered as traffic slowed. witnesses noted high Sunday travel contributing to the collision.

She will appear in a public performance Oct 12 as part of the teachers meeting program. National critics call the organization the second finest of its kind in America. Mrs Guy Adams hosted the local P E D Chapter Sept 27 with out of town guests from Laredo Tulare and California and local guests. A most enjoyable time was had at the hostess home.

Death Notice for Alfred J Coram of Missouri
Alfred J Coram born December 3 1856 in Orn Sound Canada died September 26 1933 on his farm south of Winigan at age 76 years 9 months and 23 days. He moved to Missouri at age 12 and married Duleia Hill April 2 1883 celebrating their golden anniversary last April. They had 13 children with several predeceased and numerous grandchildren and relatives. He was known for hospitality and Christian character, stricken with paralysis a week before death at his brother's home.
