Browning Couple Wreck on No 6 Near Humphreys

Thursday afternoon at 3 30 Chester Bagley and wife were in a collision when Morris Willis backed into their car. The Bagleys suffered injuries including a broken shoulder and a head wound. Willis had a broken shoulder and dislocated collar bone. Mrs Bagley required stitches for a head wound. A Humphreys doctor treated the injured. no fatalities.

Pipes Franklin Hartwell Franklin Wed in Kirksville Ceremony

Pipe s and Hartwell Franklin married Saturday in Kirksville after obtaining a license and a ceremony by Rev Tompson. Verda Pipes daughter of Charley and he of east of Cora, and James Franklin son of Jim and also of the same community, were present with Miss Vivian Franklin and Fred Watson. The couple plans to reside with relatives at home to inquiries.

Orbra Jones, collector, will be in Reger at Artz Hardware Thursday, Farmers Store in Cora Friday, and Citizens State Bank Saturday each week in December to collect Duncan township taxes.

D D Sewing and Bridge Club Thanksgiving Meeting Hosts

Mrs. Vadis Alspach hosted the D D Sewing and Bridge lab on November 23. Miss Eva Baker and Lora Myers attended. No meeting next week due to Thanksgiving. Refreshments were served by Vadis and her mother, Mrs. Joe Nickell.
