Mary Campbell born November 8 1849 in Barber County West Virginia was the son of Wm Campbell of this city. He moved with his parents to Iowa then Linn County near Winigan where he grew to manhood and married Miss Payne. They had two children one survived. His wife died years ago. He lived with a brother in Marceline and came to see his sick father when he fell ill and died Monday morning at 4 o clock. Short funeral at Hoover cemetery Tuesday at 2. He leaves a father several brothers and sisters and a son to mourn his death.

In Keytesville Chariton county Roy Rucker secured a temporary injunction against Thrash and Carroll for running a restaurant deemed a blind tiger. The Thrashes and Carroll sought a writ of prohibition to block the judge from extending the injunction.
Arthur Hoselton and Miss Bertie Perkins were married Sunday evening at the home of M. R. F. Nickell in this city. The ceremony was private with a small gathering. Arthur, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hoselton, is described as a promising farmer and a model young man. Bertie Perkins, daughter of Mrs. Perkins, has many friends in town.
