MacArthur Day Planned in Linn County Parade

Linn County plans MacArthur Day on June 10 at Brookfield a patriotic celebration with a parade from city parks to the Methodist church forming at 1 30 p m. A nationally important speaker will address the crowd followed by community singing and gold star flags presented to gold star mothers. The day honors General Douglas MacArthur with no prizes or awards.
