Son returns from Chicago hospital with leg bone set
Mrs Henry Downing visited Purdin on Monday to see her son Roy who has just returned from a Chicago hospital after a silver band was placed around his broken leg. The bone had not healed after an engine accident in Brookfield yards seventeen months ago. It is hoped the operation succeeds.
