Soil Conservation Checks Distributed to Linneus Farmers
About 1 000 soil conservation checks arrived at the Linneus office for every township in the county. Additional late checks are expected and will be mailed to farmers. The current checks totaling nearly 100 000 dollars will be given at township meetings this week to help farmers begin spring operations and seed purchases under the 1937 program. Each township committee will assist farmers to plan their soil conservation efforts and receive payments this season.
