Funeral of Mrs. Ormiston Held Monday
Nellie Ormiston widow of David B. Ormiston and Linn County News senior editor died Saturday night at her Linneus home. Funeral at Linneus Methodist Church Monday at 2 pm. Burial in Elm Wood beside her husband. Survived by four children and numerous grandchildren. She led a long, active life in the newspaper field and civic groups.

The community was shocked by the Tuesday morning death of G D Prather after years of declining health. Funeral services were held at the M E Church, Sr yesterday afternoon conducted by Rev. Owen, with burial at Hoover cemetery. An obituary will run next week.
