Floy Ogle and Miss Minnie Elliott eloped and wed at Rev. R. M. Ogle and returned to the Elliott home for a wedding supper. Miss Elliott has known the Elliott family since childhood and is beloved by friends. Floy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Ogle of Purdin, works for the Telephone Company and Bauer Brothers and will soon reside with the Elliotts as they begin married life.
The P. E. O. Society gathered at the home of Mrs. Young Fields on Wednesday June 14. President Mrs. Ivah Fleming opened with an ode and devotional exercises led by Mrs. America Fleming. New member Artie Calhoun was welcomed. Attending were charter member Mrs. Orah Jessee of Kansas City and former member Mrs. Mattie Lockhart of Lamar. Mrs. Vanwye, recently ill, spoke briefly praising officers. State convention report from Trenton Mo. was given by Mrs. J. B. Harmon, with Harmon and Fleming named to key committees. Chapter V. is well represented. Elegant refreshments followed.
The 4th of July celebration plans a dedicated auto driveway to keep teams moving to the picnic grounds. Farm families with large wagons will benefit, and all attendees are urged to make arrangements to visit Browning and enjoy a festive day.

D B Good plans a Browning meat business with home slaughter and wholesale aims. He promises first quality meats at low prices and invites customers to visit, noting prices to be quoted next week and a July 4 Browning meeting.

F H Seely of Chicago and Philadelpha will visit Trenton on Friday June 30 to demonstrate the Spermatic Shield Truss, touted to prevent rupture and promote rapid healing without surgery.
