Missouri Honey Crop Of 1909 Falls Short Of 1908
Advanced figures from the 1910 Red Book show Missouri produced 5,960,051 pounds of honey in 1909, down from 7,946,735 pounds in 1908. About 1,660,000 pounds were shipped to St Louis Kansas City and St Joseph, 2,900,000 pounds kept on farms, and the rest sold within the state.
