Fred Buxton age 21 and Esther Harmon age 19 married at Lin neus on Saturday June 1 1918 by Probate Judge Arthur L Pratt. Fred on furlough from Camp Wheeler Macon Georgia and heir to Mrs Mary D Buxton of Milan. Esther is daughter of Mr and Mrs E E Harmon formerly of this country now near Linners. Fred returns to camp Tuesday as Milan Standard wishes them joy and safe return after the war.

Nolan Pipes, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Pipes, was born in Sullivan County about twenty line years ago. He married Susie Ford years ago and recently lived in Milan employed by the O. K. railroad. He underwent an appendicitis operation two months ago and had been in poor health, staying with his father near All that kind and loving was done to realth but his Master.
