A Bumper Crop Report From Grand River Bottom
The Editor and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Chittum near Chillicothe Sunday. Chittum began thrashing wheat Saturday and expects over two thousand bushels of high quality grain. Wheat yields exceed thirty bushels per acre and corn prospects in the river bottom are outstanding after heavy rainfall.
