John Hazlet Dunkin died at 89 on June 29 1932 at his son Harvey Dunkins home in Keokuk Iowa born September 27 1843 in Dunkinville Adams County Ohio moved to Keokuk as a child later lived in Browning Missouri joined the Christian Church in 1885 and left seven children two previous deaths occurred funeral held July 1 1932 at the Christian church interment Jenkins Cemetery Browning mourns a respected citizen and businessman.

The Merchants fell short last Thursday as Regulars pitcher Moore led the game with Williams and G Moore in the lineup. Williams struggled with a trick ball while only eight men played, mostly substitutes, and Peterson and Williams split four and two hits respectively. Brassfield was detained by an out cut. A fuller lineup is hoped this Thursday.
