Belzer Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Celebrated Nearby

Celebration held at the Belzer home near Winigan Missouri for Mr. and Mrs. F H Belzer who marked sixty years of marriage they were wed in Sullivan County Missouri and spent life in Linn and Sullivan counties. The event drew four generations including ten children grandchildren and great grandchildren with a bountiful noon dinner and social afternoon activities noted.

F G Peters Dies in Chillicothe Former Mayor and Merchant

Fredrick George Peters born May 17 1885 near Browning Missouri. He married Hattie Johns May 22 1904 and had six sons and one daughter. He organized Producers Produce Company in 1924 and later owned Peters Produce Company. He served as Chillicothe mayor for two terms and led the Chamber of Commerce. He died in Chillicothe with funeral at Methodist Church and interment at Hoover Cemetery. Survived by wife Hattie and children Elmer S A Allen Frances Ith Fredrick Jr and Mrs Karmelita Cruse, plus siblings Roy and Guy Peters.
