Mrs America Fleming Passes Away in 1944

Obituary notes Mrs America Fleming born November 13 1862 near Browning Missouri. She died January 8 1944 at age 81 and was interred at Jenkins Cemetery after services at Church of Christ. She was predeceased by husband Florence A Fleming and son who died in infancy. Survived by stepchildren and grandchildren.

Mrs Ross Riddle Dies In Marshall Missouri Home

Mrs Ross Riddle born November 29 1886 died January 8 1944 at her daughter Vera’s home in Marshall Missouri. She wed Ross J Riddle August 5 1905 and leaves husband son Verle and daughter Vera Norvell two grandchildren and her mother Florence Gable and brother Grover H Gable. Funeral held at Mundell Church conducted by Rev O B Hobbs with service details and pallbearers listed. Burial followed nearby.

Orchids Arrive From South America for Milan Resident

Mrs. Harry Rhodes of Milan received four orchid stems from her son Sgt. J. B. Rhodes stationed in South America two days after Christmas. The blooms came from a Bogota Florist and each stem held a water balloon. She used the South America water on her house plants.
