Samuel Addison Crookshanks dies in California after a week of illness from pneumonia. He was a prominent Exeter teacher, later a rancher, and ex-county superintendent of schools. Funeral services were held in Exeter with the Baptist church quartet and a large procession. interment followed at Exeter cemetery. He leaves a widow Nancy Eugene Pogue, a daughter Mrs. W. S. Clawson, and many relatives in Exeter, Missouri, and Washington state.
