Public sale of farm property to be held one mile southeast of Reger on Monday February 28. Items include 28 head of horses and mules various ages and colors plus 1 cow and 1 registered Hereford bull. Terms offer eight months without interest on large sums if paid, cash on smaller sums, eight percent interest if overdue, and five percent cash discount.

Tonight the opera house presents The Irish Senator a lively Irish comedy led by James McCabe with a supporting company. Directed by Martin Sheeley owner of the National Opera Company promises good value at 25 35 and 50 cents and tickets are on sale now.
Citizens complain about waste paper and rubbish in streets and alleys. Some business owners burn waste while others neglect cleanliness, endangering horses and clogging drains. The piece urges pride in town appearance and asks residents to keep streets clean.
Thursday February 17 marked the close of a successful Knifong Grove school led by Evertt W. Riley. Patrons arrived with baskets of food for a noon meal and the afternoon featured a strong program of speeches. Riley, a young energetic teacher, is expected to advance and succeed.
