The Linn County Pest Control Council met at the Farm Bureau Office in Linneus to plan the strongest hopper battle yet for the coming season. Nancy Ann Dearing Smith Campbell died February 3 1938 at 81 years 4 months 4 days. She married Andrew B. Smith in 1876 with ten children and later married An nanias Campbell in 1905.
