Mary Pearl Havens and infant daughter Martha Jane died January 24 1938 at Dr McLarney hospital in Brookfield. Born April 13 1909 near Browning Missouri she was 28 years 9 months and 11 days old. She married Samuel P Havens March 10 1931 and lived near Browning then Salisbury. Funeral January 26 at Browning Christian Church. Burial Jenkins cemetery. She leaves husband two sisters two brothers and many relatives.

Life of Mrs Jane Tharp: a Missouri pioneer’s death
Mrs Jane Tharp daughter of John and Segista Dodson was born November 29 1858 in Sullivan county Missouri and died January 24 1938 at 79.1.26. She lived on the farm near Cora all her married life. She married Jeremiah Hardin Tharp June 10 1877 and had eight children with three predeceased. Surviving children include Mary Els ie Marlay Alden Tharp Bertha J Jennings Curtis C Tharp and Edith Clem. She leaves three brothers John C Dodson Charles C Dodson and James A Dodson, twenty two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She joined the Christian Union Church and remained faithful until death. She moved to town after her husband’s death May last year.
