Winigan Eagle Captured After Flight Across Farm
Mrs. Nickell’s Wyan-Motte chickens were attacked daily until Mr. Nickell shot the eagle three times, final shot in the right eye. The bird, described as yellow feathered head and black with white spotted body, is believed by locals to be a Harpy eagle though features differ. It will be mounted for exhibition at the next Green City fair according to Green City Press.

Funeral held at home Tuesday with Rev A L Zink of the Christian church officiating.
