Obituary for Christena Spangler Peters of Missouri
Christena Spangler Peters born September 15 1825 in Fairfield county slfo died November 25 1910 in Browning aged 85 2 10 married April 5 1846 to Fredrick H Peters who died May 5 1892 twelve children survive along with fifty five grandchildren and fifty three great grandchildren. She moved to Missouri in 1875 and joined the Lutheran church early then the M E church in this city in 1888. Funeral served by Rev Fanning at the M E Church on November 26 with many relatives and friends. interment Hoover Cemetery. She bore months of suffering with patience and faith in the Savior.
