Grand Social At Stewarts Home Attendance 96

A large August gathering at Mr and Mrs Bryant Stewart’s home featured ice cream cake lanterns and music. About 96 guests including numerous local families attended a lively evening with games and refreshments. North Salem hosted Browning in an exciting nine inning game. Home team pitchers Moore and Fields and Bol ling performed well while Arnold Brothers handled the visitors. Ben Carter, Otis Lantz, Duncan and Bolling produced key hits as Browning rallied from a late deficit to win 7 to 6 despite some errors and a minor on field quarrel.
