A Good Rain Delivers Needed Moisture to Crops

Tuesday morning rain refreshed hot fields as corn began to roll and tassel while early haying suffered for lack of moisture. The slow rain soaked the ground and saved growing corn, though hundreds of acres of hay in swaths faced some loss, offset by later corn gains.
