Sunday morning the home of Mrs. S. H. Linhart caught fire. Firefighters and a bucket brigade arrived and extinguished the flames before much damage occurred. The blaze is believed to have started from a furnace spark.

Golden Rule Club Names Leaders and Plans March Meeting
The Golden Rule Club held its March meeting on March 21 with committee leaders named to fill vacancies. A report on the T B clinic for school children was given and bulk vegetable seeds were ordered to save money. True Blue Club Nineteen members answered roll call My labor saving devices at the home of Mrs. Willard Phillips on March 27. Leader Mrs. Wayne Cooper outlined next Tuesdays meeting at the school house to set out trees shrubs and flowers. A quilt raffle proceeds to fund a piano for the school.
