Council Accepts Southview Bid For Water And Sewer
Brownfield City Council approved the lowest bid of 60 544.70 from Utility Contractors of America for Southview water and sewer improvements. Bids from Holloman Construction and Rhoades Construction were 83 665.75 and 77 742.55. An 82 000 estimate. The council also approved a 15 percent city cash match for a Texas Community Development Program paving grant totaling 158 645 with the city paying 23 796.75 if awarded.
