Terry County Fair Opens October 14 1982 Exhibits in 10 Categories
The 1982 Terry County Fair runs October 14 to 16 at the National Guard Armory with agricultural, canned fruits and vegetables, textiles, crafts and hobbies, relics and antiques, art, flowers, horticulture, culinary, and golden age exhibits. President Robert Mayfield, VP Joe Sears, and secretary-treasurer Sharon McCraw lead the event with division superintendents named. No entry fee for Terry County residents to exhibit. a children's barnyard appears on October 16.

SPS Rate Increase Tops City Agenda

Terry County 4 Hers To Name Gold Stars
The 1982 Terry County 4 H Banquet at Brownfield High School Commons will honor top 4 H members with Gold Star Awards and four I Dare You awards. Candidates must be at least 14 and have three years in 4 H, judged on leadership and service. The Terry County program serves about 150 youths across Brownfield Wellman and area clubs.
