Alcohol and drug abuse center opens in Brownfield
The Lubbock Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse opened a 24 hour referral center at 305 N Cedar Brownfield to serve 14 South Plains counties. The private nonprofit offers crisis line referrals assessments and followups with confidential information and outreach to schools clubs and organizations. Funding comes from United Way the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and private donations.
