A total of 88 Brownfield High School seniors are set to finish their high school careers with commencement at 8 p.m. May 20 in the auditorium. Carl G. Hecker will give the baccalaureate address, with prayer by Dr. Jones Weathers and benediction by Rev. James Tidwell. Diplomas will be presented by J. A. Hicks. The BHS chorus and band will provide music, and valedictorian Mary Jane Brownfield will speak.

Mayfield Brownfield resident died of a heart attack Friday morning in Seapraves. Interment followed at Terry County cemetery. Services Held For Mrs Margaret Timmons
Last rites were conducted Thursday afternoon at Poret Baptist Church for Mrs Margaret Celesta Timmons 68 of Route 4 Tohoka with Don Murray pastor and Rev Henry Flippin officiating. Burial followed at Meadow Cemetery. funeral arrangements were by Franklin Malten Funeral Home of Lubbock. Mrs Timmons died early Wednesday in Methodist Hospital Lubbock after a four day illness. She was the mother of Roy Timmeanre.
