Insecticide seminar set for Terry County producers
A private pesticide applicator program is scheduled for 8 30 a m Monday at the Terry County Park Amphitheater for Terry County producers. The free 90 minute program will start at 7 30 p m at the Middle School Auditorium. Choir director Cheryl Davis described the spring concert, noting more than 200 hours of rehearsal by the ensemble and New Horizons singers with selections from Broadway shows, Oliver, Peter Pan, West Side Story and Cabaret.

Brownfield council authorized seeking bids for equipment for a proposed senior citizen and homebound persons program after Police Chief J T Churchwell presented details at the April 19 meeting.
