Brownfield to Host State Prison Hearing Monday
Brownfield officials and the Brownfield Development Corporation plan a public hearing Monday at 7 p.m. in the District Courtroom on a possible state funded prison. A TDCJ representative will observe and report citizen input to the Board. Attendees must sign in and indicate for against or no opinion. Speakers speak in alternating order, each limited to two minutes. Timekeeper will enforce a one hour limit. Local officials will give opening remarks, each about two minutes.
