Meadow Bond Issue To Go Before Voters April Fourth
Meadow voters will decide a 9101 bond issue on April 4 in a mill election held at Cotton Producers Gin from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The measure funds water system improvements and extensions sewer system upgrades and street work. The council also extended Meadow city limits and set 40 mph as the speed limit.

Funeral services for Mrs. C. P. Buchanan 82 of 615 S First were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. A Terry resident since 1921 she died Wednesday in Dallas at a daughter’s home. Rev Ralph O'Dell officiated and burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Survived by one daughter.
