Prizes, live music from multiple groups, and a 8 p.m. dance cap the day. Ten days later a chamber banquet at BHS Commons features Chancellor John Montford as speaker and marks the Citizen of the Year. Summer brings a July 8 Cub Stadium concert with Gary P. Nunn and The Emeralds, $5 general admission, $10 per car for drive-ins, opening at 6 p.m.
