Harlan Named State Finalist for ATPE Teacher of the Year
Oak Grove Elementary third grade teacher Tanya Harlan is one of three Texas finalists in the ATPE Teacher of the Year contest. The winner will be announced at the April 6-7 Austin conference. Harlan, nominated by the Brownfield ATPE chapter, has 15 years in teaching and is praised by Principal Chuck Hargrave for boosting students’ self-image and engagement.
