Ten Terry ranchers approved a brucellosis control program after a Texas Extension Service talk by Dr. E M Patterson. The plan, from the Texas Animal Health Commission, calls for testing and vaccination at livestock markets. A future Terry County vote will decide whether breeding stock are tested and vaccinated, with state vaccination offered free for underage cattle if favored.

Army enlists two Terry youths for three years
Alvin Thomas Frazier son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie T Frazier Route 1 and Virgil Lonnie Allen son of Virgil Alfred Allen 1018 North Second enlisted for three years in the Army.
