Dorothy McDonald heads toward Miss Texas Pageant
Dorothy McDonald, a 5 foot 4 inch student from a three-county area, prepares for the Miss Texas Pageant this August after finishing summer work and college prep. She enjoys reading, writing poetry, and volleyball, with swimming as a pastime. The Jaycee-Ettes assisted with the pageant, earning a new bathing suit and a billowy formal for her state appearance. Dorothy attends First Baptist Church and serves in youth groups, while her pageant fellow contestants bring local charm and poise to the state event.
