Law Enforcement Center passes annual jail inspection
An inspector from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards gave the Terry County jail a passing grade after its annual inspection. County Judge Doug Ryburn praised Sheriff Jerry Johnson and staff, noting this is the sixteenth consecutive year of passing. Inspector Dennis Cisneros said the facility is one he looks forward to inspecting, with staffing levels staying within state guidelines. County commissioners commended Johnson for keeping the jail running smoothly.

Deadline June 13 for Terry County EQIP funding
Terry County farmers must apply by June 13 to receive EQIP cost share under the 2002 Farm Bill through NRCS.
