Wednesday Roasted Chicken with scalloped potatoes and spinach. Thursday Liver and Onions with potatoes and green beans. Friday Salisbury Steak with green peas and cauliflower. Each day includes sides, bread, and dessert or fruit.
XYZ Club at 101 S. D St. lists June 26 meals: Monday Swiss Steaks with sides. Tuesday Fried Chicken with gravy and vegetables. Wednesday Smoked Pit Ham with yams and pineapples. Thursday Fried Catfish with greens and bread. Friday Grilled Veal Cutlets with beans and potatoes.
Christian Quintanilla and Lisa Lowe announce the birth of daughter Alyssa Nicole at 2 18 p.m. May 23 at Lubbock Methodist Hospital. Alyssa weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and measured 18 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Lupe and Josie Quintanilla Michele Lowe and Lynn and Lorene Lowe of Brownfield. Great-grandparents are Leon Lowe Dee Molendy Jesusa Castro and Marina Quintanilla. Great-great-grandmother Manuela Riojas.
