Rialto Theater Opens New Era With Weekend Show

The Rialto Theater marks a new chapter this weekend with doors opening after more than 20 years. A 7 p.m. Saturday performance features the Dance Power Studio Dancers and the Martin Family Band of Levelland, while 408 West Main hosts Rusted admission at 6 for adults and 3 for children 12 and under. Local officials note restoration effort led by Rialto Community Theater Board president Jim Kirkendall aims to revive a historic venue once home to silent and talkie films including Ben Hur and Illusion.
