Plains United Methodist Church hosted the Vacation Bible School from July 6 to 10 with about 30 students. Director Cyndy Koncada led the program, aided by Rev. and Mrs. Mark Abbott and several volunteers. Clown team Toes and Sparkles from Lovington visited Friday, entertaining with songs, verses, and balloon animals. Awards honored guests, youngest and oldest attendees, and those traveling far, with continued thanks to helpers and kitchen volunteers.
