Extension Homemakers met July 6 at Anna Bell Henson's home with 12 members present. Ludie Mae Small gave a devotion on prayer and two members volunteered to plan a county blood drive with the advisory committee. Joyce Clven ger and Barbara Pollard from Anton led a makeup program. Southwestern Bell Seeks July 21 1981 Rate Increase
Public notice under Texas Public Utility Commission rules that Southwestern Bell plans a new rate schedule effective July 21 1981 pending commission approval. The proposal foresees about a 15.8 percent intrastate revenue increase and copies of the schedule are on file with the PUC in Austin and at company offices for inspection. The filing also includes plans to raise rates for interexchange private line and FX service, affecting customers of other telephone companies that rely on Southwestern Bell tariffs.
