Meadow Tournament stabbing leaves Meadow player injured
Two suspects, Christopher Justice and Erica Hicks, were charged with attempted murder after a stabbing of a 16-year-old Meadow High School basketball player following the Meadow Tournament. Justice bonded out Sunday. Hicks remained jailed Tuesday. The incident occurred near the Meadow School after Meadow beat Three Way. The motive centers on alleged conduct by the juvenile, with the knife recovered at the scene and the case ongoing. The injured player was treated at University Medical Center in Lubbock and was in fair condition.
