New Faces Join Brownfield Police Department Staff
Brownfield welcomes new officers David Barrera Ernest Smith and Roy Johnson to its Police Department. Barrera is a Whiteface native with UT Permian Basin certification and three and a half years in law enforcement. he has served since January 2 and is married to Belinda with a daughter Amanda Rose. Ernest Smith, from Lubbock and a Coronado High School graduate, earned certification from the South Plains Association of Governments and has two and a half years in law enforcement. Roy Johnson joins the Brownfield force as part of the recent staffing increases.
